The Saxon tower of All Saints, Earls Barton, is one of the most famous in England: a tall square of pale stone laced with pilaster strips, strip-arches and triangular decoration, built around 970. The rest of the church is later medieval. It stands above Earls Barton and is open to visitors. Wellingborough station is roughly 7km to the north-east.
