Beside the Pendle Heritage Centre at Barrowford sits a restored eighteenth-century walled garden, planted much as an old kitchen garden would have been. It’s a peaceful stop, with a tearoom to hand and the heritage centre’s displays to look round. The garden is free to wander, and Colne station is a couple of kilometres to the east.
