Ninesprings, Yeovil Country Park
On the edge of Yeovil, Ninesprings fills a wooded valley where springs feed a run of ponds, waterfalls and stepping stones. The Batten family laid it out as an ornamental pleasure ground in the 1830s, and it now forms the heart of Yeovil Country Park — open access and free, with a café by the car park. Yeovil Pen Mill station is under 2km to the north-east.
