Turnbull’s is a family butcher and food hall in the middle of Alnwick, a good stop for Northumberland beef and lamb, local game in season and pies for the road. Handy if you’re visiting the castle and gardens, or stocking up before heading into the hills. Alnmouth station is about 4km east.
