Ribblesdale Cheese is a small family dairy near Hawes that has made handmade goat’s-milk cheeses since 1978, best known for its Ribblesdale Blue. It’s a working farmhouse dairy with a shop rather than a big centre, so it’s worth checking opening times before a visit. For the full cheese day out, the Wensleydale Creamery is just along the dale. Garsdale station is about 9km west.
