M & M Spink is a traditional smokie smokehouse on the Arbroath harbourside, hot-smoking haddock over hardwood since 1965. Arbroath smokies carry protected status, and here you can often see the smoking barrels at work before buying a pair straight from the shop. Best eaten fresh and warm. The station is about half a kilometre inland to the north-west.
