The oldest vineyard in Nottinghamshire, planted in 1979 on the hill between Bunny and Costock. Eglantine is best known for North Star, an award-winning dessert wine made in an ice-wine style: the Madeleine Angevine grapes are frozen before pressing to concentrate the sugars, producing a sweet wine with apricot and marmalade notes. Owners Tony and Veronica Skuriat welcome visitors for tours and tastings, and you can buy the wine at the door. East Midlands Parkway station is about 8km west.
