Wymeswold is a Wolds village of warm-brick and stone cottages strung along a brook, north-east of Loughborough. Its church, St Mary’s, is admired for the fine lych gate at the entrance to the churchyard. Otherwise a working village, well placed for the quiet Wolds lanes. Barrow upon Soar station is about 7km to the south-west.
