A family wine estate at the top of Bunny Hill, between Bunny and Costock, run by a descendant of Nottinghamshire’s oldest winemaking line. Hanwell makes English sparkling wine by the traditional method from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Guided vineyard tours and tastings run through the warmer months, and the café-bar and shop open on Fridays and Saturdays from spring to Christmas for a glass, a light lunch or a bottle to take home.
