Cropwell Bishop Creamery has been run by the Skailes family for three generations, and is another of the six dairies allowed to make Stilton under the cheese’s protected designation. It sits on the Nottinghamshire side of the Vale of Belvoir, and the Cheesemaker’s Shop next door sells the full range, including Blue Stilton, Beauvale and Blue Shropshire, alongside a café doing scones, pies and cheese-friendly bits and pieces. Handy to pair with a stop in the village itself.
