Naturescape Wildflower Farm
Forty-odd acres of meadow at Langar, grown as a crop for seed: Naturescape is the largest producer of native British wildflower seed in the country. The farm has been going since 1978, and its visitor centre opened in 1990 with a wildlife garden, ponds and a pine-cabin tearoom. Wandering the fields is free, and the shop sells seed, bulbs and plants if you want to take some of it home. Aslockton station is about 6km to the north. Best in the flowering months, so check the season before setting off.
