Colston Bassett is an estate village in the Vale of Belvoir, with a market cross on the green and, on a low hill outside it, the ivy-clad ruin of the old church. Best known here is the Colston Bassett Dairy, founded in 1913 and one of only six creameries still licensed to make Stilton. Bingham station is about 7km to the north.
