Knipton sits in a fold of the Vale of Belvoir, its ironstone houses the colour of honey, below the towers and turrets of Belvoir Castle on the ridge above. There’s a Norman church and a village pub, with walking country all around. The castle grounds open to visitors on select days through the year.
