St Wulfram's Church, Grantham
St Wulfram’s raised its spire to around 282ft about 1300, and for a time it was the tallest in England — four slender spirelets stand at the corners of the tower below it. It’s a big, confident medieval church for a market town, its west front a set-piece of Early English work. Isaac Newton went to the grammar school in its shadow; his family home at Woolsthorpe Manor is a few miles south. Grantham station is under 1km away.
