A Welsh Baptist chapel on The Hayes, in the middle of Cardiff’s shopping streets, and one of the city’s finest surviving Nonconformist buildings. Chapels like this were the heart of Welsh-speaking urban life, and Tabernacl still holds services in Welsh. Grade II* listed and worth a look at the classical front. Open to visitors; Cardiff Queen Street station is a short walk away.
