The Fettiplace monuments are the thing to see: two tiers of reclining stone gentlemen, propped on their elbows along the chancel wall of this small Windrush church. Several of the Mitford sisters lie out in the churchyard. It’s an easy stop from Swinbrook village or from nearby Burford, and the church is normally open through the day.
