Also known as Cauldron Falls, West Burton Falls drops in a broad curtain into a rocky pool right at the edge of one of Wensleydale’s prettiest villages. It’s a two-minute walk from the long green at West Burton, down a lane and over a little footbridge — about as accessible as Dales falls get. The rocks around the pool are slippery, so keep an eye on small children near the water. Fullest, as ever, after rain.
