The Ingleton Waterfalls Trail is a circular walk of about four and a half miles through the wooded Twiss and Doe gorges, linking Thornton Force, Pecca Falls and a good handful of others. It runs over private land, so there’s an entry charge, and while it’s graded easy-to-moderate there are a lot of steps and some steep pulls — allow a good few hours. Sturdy shoes beat trainers here. Bentham station is about 5km to the south-west.
