Ingleborough Cave is a show cave on the walk up from Clapham towards Gaping Gill, with floodlit stalactites, flowstone and still pools along a level path. Guided tours run through the day and there’s an admission charge; the mile or so in from the village winds through the Ingleborough Estate grounds and past a lake, so it’s a nice outing in itself. The underground trip is easy and suits most people, though the floor can be damp. Clapham station is under 4km away.
