Bronte Waterfall
Local highlightThe Brontë sisters knew this spot well: the Brontë Waterfall is a small moorland cascade on South Dean Beck, out on the walk from Haworth towards Top Withens — the ruined farmhouse often tied to Wuthering Heights. A stone footbridge crosses the beck beside it, rebuilt after a 1989 flash flood swept the old one away. It’s open moorland the whole way, so boots and an eye on the weather help. Keighley station is about 9km to the north-east.
