The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway is a five-mile heritage steam line running up from Keighley to Oxenhope, calling at Haworth in the heart of Brontë country. It stood in for the branch line in the 1970 film The Railway Children and still runs to a timetable most weekends and holidays. Tickets are charged; you can join it straight off the main-line platform at Keighley, near Taylor’s on the Green.
