Cobbled Brontë village on the Pennine moors.
Haworth’s steep cobbled Main Street climbs to the parsonage where the Brontë sisters wrote, now a museum kept much as they left it. Behind it the moors begin, and the walk out to Top Withens — the ruined farm linked to Wuthering Heights — is the classic one. The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway steams right into the village; the main-line station at Keighley is about 5km to the north-east.
