Findon is a downland village below Cissbury Ring, the largest Iron Age hillfort in Sussex, whose ramparts are a stiff walk up onto the Downs. The village long held a September sheep fair, still marked by an annual event on Nepcote Green. The Gun Inn is the village pub. West Worthing station is about 6km south.
