High Salvington Windmill is a restored open-trestle post mill of around 1750 on the Downs edge above Worthing, the sort that turns its whole body to face the wind. It mills again on selected open days, usually some Sundays through the summer; otherwise it’s easily seen from the footpaths alongside. Durrington-on-Sea station is about 3.5km to the south.
