Cullen gave its name to Cullen skink, the thick soup of smoked haddock, potato and milk you’ll find on menus all along this coast. The town splits in two below a many-arched railway viaduct: the old upper town, and the Seatown of former fishermen’s cottages down by the beach. Along the cliffs to the west lies Portknockie and the Bow Fiddle Rock. Keith station is about 17km inland.
