Cullen is the home of Cullen skink — the smoked-haddock, potato and milk soup — and The Seafield Arms is a good place on the coast to try a bowl. It’s a restored coaching inn on Seafield Street, handy for the beach and the town’s old railway viaducts, with rooms if you’re staying over. Keith station is around 18km inland to the south-west.
