Sunnyside Beach
Local highlightFor a beach you have to earn, Sunnyside is a remote sweep of sand below the clifftop ruin of Findlater Castle, reached on foot along the coast path from Sandend or the Barnyards car park. The walk down is steep, but the reward is a quiet bay with the broken castle perched above. No facilities, so take what you need. Sandend Beach is the easier bay just to the west.
