Finnich Glen
Local highlightFinnich Glen is a seventy-foot sandstone slot canyon with a red-tinged burn running past the mossy Devil’s Pulpit rock — you’ll recognise it from Outlander. It’s genuinely dangerous underfoot: the crumbling steps down and sudden flash floods land people in the rescue reports most years. Best viewed from the rim unless you really know what you’re doing.
