Licensed since 1734, the Clachan Inn is reckoned to be one of the oldest pubs in Scotland, sitting on the green in the middle of Drymen. Since Drymen is the first village on the West Highland Way, it’s a natural first-night stop — food, drink and a garden terrace out the back. Balloch station is about 11km to the south-west.
