Vogrie Country Park is a Victorian estate turned family park near Gorebridge, with a grand old house at its heart and woodland trails spreading out around it. There’s a miniature railway, a small golf course and an adventure playground, so it’s an easy day out with kids. Entry is free, with a charge for parking. Gorebridge station is about 4km to the south-west.
