Shepherd House is a one-acre garden in the village of Inveresk, made over many years by the botanical painter Ann Fraser — formal rills, clipped topiary and a productive potager packed into a small space. It opens on selected days and by arrangement, with an admission charge. Wallyford station is a couple of kilometres east.
