Findhorn Bay Local Nature Reserve
Local highlightAfter birds? Findhorn Bay is a big tidal basin just west of Forres that fills with wildfowl and waders, especially through winter, feeding on the mud at low tide. There are hides and shore paths, and it’s free to walk. The dunes and sands of Findhorn Beach are at the seaward end. Forres station is about 4km south.
