Forres is a regular Scotland in Bloom winner, and Grant Park is where you see the effort — each summer the town builds elaborate sculptural flower beds, usually on a theme. Behind the park, the wooded Cluny Hill rises to Nelson’s Tower, a short climb for a view over the Moray plain. Free and open. Forres station is barely a kilometre away.
