A 300-year-old thatched pub of Dorset stone in the coastal village of Burton Bradstock, a short walk from the Jurassic Coast and happy to take walkers, families and muddy boots. Palmers ales and a proper kitchen keep it busy. It’s an easy pairing with a scramble down to Hive Beach, or a clifftop stretch of the South West Coast Path just beyond the village.
