The Anchor sits almost on the shingle at Seatown, a reworked Jurassic Coast pub serving elevated British classics with Palmers ale from just up the road. The sea is close enough to feel from the bar. It makes an obvious reward at the end of a climb over Golden Cap, or a pause as you follow the South West Coast Path along this stretch of Dorset.
