The Star Inn

The Star Inn is one of Alfriston’s landmarks — a 15th-century timber-framed inn with an elaborately carved front, said to have begun as a hostel for pilgrims heading to Chichester. It’s now a hotel with a bar and restaurant. Berwick station is about 4km to the north.
