Built in 1637 on the old road to Woodstock, the Killingworth Castle is a tall three-storey coaching inn at Wootton, brewing its own Yubberton ales and cooking seasonal Cotswold food. It has rooms in the former stables and a long garden behind. Woodstock and Blenheim lie a couple of miles south. Tackley station is about 5km east.
