A small Evenlode-valley town on the edge of the old Wychwood forest, Charlbury has a broad main street, a good deal of Quaker history, and its own station on the Cotswold Line with direct trains to Oxford and London. The Bull is its best-known inn, and walks into the Wychwood woods and the Cornbury estate start close by.
