Foolow’s green has a duck pond and a medieval cross at its centre, and the Bull’s Head sits right beside them. It’s a straightforward stone free house, well liked by walkers crossing the White Peak, with a fire going and a few real ales on. Hathersage, with the nearest station, is about six kilometres to the north-east.
