The Anchor stands a short walk back from the beach at Walberswick, across the Blyth from Southwold. It’s a 1920s pub in a low Arts and Crafts style, pouring Adnams beer, with a big garden and rooms out back — some of them timber chalets. A reliable stop for lunch on a coast walk.
