Adnams has brewed in Southwold since 1872, when George and Ernest Adnams took over the Sole Bay Brewery — though beer was recorded on the site as far back as 1396. It still brews here, in the middle of town, and now distils gin and whisky too, running tours and tastings you can book ahead. A short walk from Southwold seafront and its pier.
