The Glenelg Inn sits by the bay on the mainland side of the Glenachulish — the last hand-operated turntable ferry in the world, which shuttles across to Skye between spring and autumn. Reached over the high Mam Ratagan pass from Shiel Bridge, it’s a fire-warmed bar with rooms, a good place to end a day in Glenelg.
