Bainbridge hillfort is one of five hillforts the Albion Guide lists in North Yorkshire. The surrounding countryside is part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For arrivals by rail, Garsdale Station is 14.5 km to the west. The nearest other hillfort is Ox Close small stone circle, Nab End, 5.8 km to the east.
