Glen Grant at Rothes pairs its distillery with a restored Victorian garden that climbs the glen behind, threaded with woodland paths up to a waterfall. You can visit both on a paid ticket, which makes it a nicer stop than most if the weather holds. Elgin is the nearest station, about 14km to the north-west.
