Craigellachie stands where the Spey meets the Fiddich, and its landmark is Thomas Telford’s iron bridge, built between 1812 and 1814 and still spanning the river on a single graceful arch. Just outside the village, the Speyside Cooperage lets you watch coopers building and repairing whisky casks by hand. It’s walking distance from Aberlour along the Speyside Way.
