Auchentoshan is a Lowland distillery on the western edge of Glasgow at Dalmuir, unusual for triple-distilling all its whisky where most Scottish distilleries distil twice. There’s a visitor centre and daily tours, so it makes an easy half-day out from the city. Kilpatrick station is about a kilometre away, roughly 25 minutes by train from Glasgow.
