The Glasgow Distillery is an independent producer out in Hillington, to the west of the city, making Makar gin and the 1770 single malt (plus a rum and a vodka). It’s a working distillery on an industrial estate rather than a riverside visitor centre, and tours and tastings run by booking only, so sort a slot before you head out.
