Pollok Country Park is Glasgow’s largest park, wooded parkland on the Southside with walled gardens, a fold of Highland cattle and paths along the White Cart Water. Within it stand Pollok House and the Burrell Collection, the celebrated art museum reopened after a long refurbishment. Free and open daily; Pollokshaws West station sits right by the entrance, under a kilometre from the house.
