Greenbank Garden is a walled 18th-century garden at Clarkston, run by the National Trust for Scotland around an elegant Georgian house. The 2.5-acre walled plot is packed with thousands of plants and works as a demonstration garden, showing what will actually grow on a west-of-Scotland town plot. There’s an admission charge (free to NTS members). Whitecraigs station is about 1.3km to the north-west.
