St Andrew’s Cathedral is Glasgow’s Roman Catholic cathedral, a Gothic Revival church on Clyde Street looking onto the river. It’s the mother church of the city’s archdiocese, free to visit and open to the public, with a quiet Italian cloister garden tucked alongside. Argyle Street station is a couple of minutes’ walk to the north-east.
